Hey,
I'm Cynthia.
I live in Hinton, Alberta, with the Rocky Mountains as my ever-present backdrop. I’m a mother of three amazing boys, a wife, and a proud, strong Indigenous woman.
I discovered photography in my early twenties while living in Victoria, BC. Nature photography was my first love, and I spent hours marveling at the beauty of the island through my lens.
After moving back to Alberta and welcoming three children in quick succession, I realized just how fleeting time is. That’s when my love for photography truly took root. Capturing the everyday magic of motherhood—the milestones, the laughter, and even the messy, ordinary moments—became my passion and my heart.
Life is full of stories, and I’ve spent over 17 years behind the camera documenting mine. Whether it’s the chaos and joy of family life or quiet personal moments, I aim to capture the depth and beauty in every detail. Now, I love bringing that same storytelling approach to the families I photograph, creating images that are authentic, meaningful, and full of life.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me with a coffee and a knitting project at the local café, or baking sourdough in the kitchen.
